Organized in cooperation with Borsa Istanbul and Marmara University, the Conference themed “History, Theory and Practice of Islamic Economics and Finance: The Case of Türkiye” was held at Raffles Hotel Istanbul on November 11, 2014. It is believed that the conference will play a decisive role in achieving the goals of conveying the aspects of capital markets that are in line with Islamic principles to potential investors more effectively and of establishing Istanbul as a global center for setting standards in Islamic finance.
